What is a VPN?
A virtual private network (VPN) creates a private network across a public network, and enables users to send and receive data across shared or public networks as if they were directly connected to the private network.
This secures users from having their network traffic monitored, allows users to bypass network restrictions, and much more.
VIPERsurf allows users to dynamically create VPN servers on the fly, and gives you control and visibility into who and how many users are accessing your VPN. By giving control to the user, you don’t need to trust us, you can check for yourself!
VIPERsurf also runs entirely on open source software, which ensures that we aren’t sneakily storing and monitoring your traffic.
What Else Do I Get?
VIPERsurf offers a number of features that you can”t get on other services. Some of the options available to you are:
- Static or Random IP
- Create a private VPN server for yourself and family
- Use your own DNS server
- Launch a VPN server under your own AWS account
- And more….
VIPERsurf was born out of the desire to grant users more visibility and control over who see’s their network traffic. We didn’t want to trust that the other providers where doing what they claimed. We wanted users to be able to verify for themselves that their online activity was secure and private.
